This past week I have been majorly busy with a new client for TW Resource Group and hanging with my buddy Dayzed50. Now it is time for me to sit and chillax and do nothing but what I want. As work increases, through my choice, I wonder how long I can keep it up, especially as summer creeps closer. The more I try to propigate my personal business, the less free time I have to enjoy life's simple pleasures of family, frineds and the great outdoors. As I sit here, trying to think of reasons to blog, I find it difficult to purse what got me started blogging in the first place...

His and Her Big Screens

Sunday was such a cool because Jyll and I went out in the big bad world and conquered the evils then capturing our prizes, matching His and Her Samsung 50" Plasma HDTVs. Most couples go get matching shirts or rings but not us, we go get big screens...now that is what I am talking about.

The day started off like any other with us sleeping in and then getting up for some coffee plus bacon and eggs. Jyll got up and jumped on the pc, while I cleaned up from breakfast, and started pricing out big screens with her Quixtar membership. This soon transformed into the idea of going out and looking. The search started with us driving to the Kirkland Costco and checking out their selection. Though they didn't have the largest selection (its not my choice for electronics) but they did have some decent TVs with decent prices. After looking we decided to go to the Costco Home Store just off 116th to see what they had. Having a more in depth selection we got to compare the screen quality and sizes through the many top brands.

Our search to us to Best Buy, Video Only and Circuit City to keep comparing screens and prices. It seemed that we were getting really serious to buy, well I was thinking that one would be sweet to bring home that day. After looking and looking Jyll and I decided to take a break and go get some dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Lynnwood. While eating spaghetti, salad, bread and tortellini, Jyll and I talked about purchasing two TVs from Best Buy (Best Buy had the better prices since we were looking at 2007 models).

Discussions became more discussion and we conveniently drove back to Best Buy to start negotiating for 2 Samsung 50" Plasma HDTVs. The negotiations were stiff but we got both TVs and one wall mount for $4,300, cha ching for some bling bling. The price was really reasonable especially since there is no interest for 12 months.

I have two say that we are happy with the purchases and TVs. Dad is coming over tomorrow night to help me mount mine on my wall which is going to be sick. Now just need the HDTV cable from Comcast. Anyhoo it is late and I need to go to work early and make some money.

Deception Pass Day Trip

Today my girlfriend, Just Jyll, and I went to Whidbey Island to visit her parents and drop off furniture. Our day was awesome and with the weather being gorgeous it made the day so much more enjoyable. We stopped off at Deception Pass and took a few pictures, Deception Pass Photo Album, which was really cool because of the views and fresh air. After we got to her parents we took a tour of the property and boy was it nicely done. the forest underbrush was cleared exposing the forest floor and making it easy to see in and out. The walk was most enjoyable and I could have easily spent all day just sitting in the woods listening to the silence. After we had dinner, Jyll and I jumped in the truck and made our way to the ferry for a nice boat ride home but made a quick detour to look at real estate in Mukilteo. By now it was raining and the wind was blowing so standing outside and enjoying the city lights wasn't the best idea but we did it anyway. As Mukilteo approached we enjoyed the rocking of the ferry, the lights of Everett and each others hugs and soon it was time to get back into the truck. Now it is late and have been on the computer for a bit uploading images and blogging so this all for me and I am going to crawl in bed and pass out...lata.

A Weekend in Review

Tonight Jus Jyll and I are hanging out at her place eating mass snacks (kiwi, cheese, carrots, cucumber, green peppers, oranges and mangos) while we chillax. This weekend there hasn't been a whole lot of time to jump around the net but to tell ya the truth it was kind of nice but it is also nice to sit here and mind dump the weekend.

Friday was a productive day at work and I almost completed a new webpage on the Kellogg Ridge neighborhood in Marysville. So guess it wasn't to productive, lol, but leaving at 4:30 I headed over to my buddy's Mike house to hang out with him and my other buddy Jake. It was hella fun to catch up since it has been a month from last time we hung out. We don't hang out as much as we used to since I moved to Kirkland, 30+ miles away from Marysville.

Mike, Jake and I talked cars most of the night and what are plans for all our vehicles. Mike is building a 69 RS/SS Camaro and Jake is going to buy a truck like mine. It will be sweet when we are all rolling together but all in due time. We also chatted about our other buddy Mike Redwine and his travels around the world. It was some good old fashioned fun which has been missing for some time now and we stayed up to late just bullshittin away.

The next morning I was up way to early, 8:30, and headed home to meet up with Jyll for a day of traveling and pictures. After getting home and cleaned up Jyll and I headed out for our big day...we went out for lunch and then back home to veg and munch. We spent the day together on her couch eating junk and watching movies...it totally rocked and we were in bed by 10:30. It was awesome and I woke up on Sunday morning (today) at 10:00am. It felt so good and being rested I was ready to begin the day.

I got home and showered up, washed and vacummed the truck then Jyll and I hooked up for a big day. We went to Redmond Towncenter to go to Victoria Secret's...Jack Pot...I love that store. After they we got some mean lunch at Red Robin and then headed home. I got my chores done then back to Jyll's place which leads me right back to where I started.

Mike Redwine

Back in June of 2006, my great friend, Mike Redwine, took off to Saudi Arabia to work as a AMP mechanic on a two year contract. Since then we have been chatting at odd times via MSN Messenger. When it is my morning it is his night so we are always greeting each other with each other's respective time. It is pretty funny, yea we are geeks, but it is pretty cool that we can still stay in regular contact during his contract.

I love to visit Mike Redwine's blog because he keeps it updated about his travels around Saudi Arabia and provides many pictures, which is awesome since I have never been there. There are some differences about Saudi Arabia and the Muslim culture most of which I did know. Some of these differences are: alcohol is illegal by Islamic Law and so is starring at women (those are stupid laws if you ask me), people up to work when they feel like and don't have to work when they get there (drives Mike crazy) and it is hotter than hell (Mike loves to Snowmobile and is from Alaska but he says he is getting used to the heat).

He finally got a vacation and he spent it in Russia visiting his girlfriend. Mike has been blogging about the issues faced with getting his visa, departing for Russia, airplane flights on Lufthansa and Aeroflot. His more recent posts are about his travels around Russia and to the many different monuments (see pictures here) with his girlfriend and her family.

I am really happy for Mike and he is such a great traveler, much better than I when I went to Bosnia alone (pre-blogging days Oct-04) and has become quite cultured since his younger years. If you get a chance swing over to his blog and check it out because it is definitely worth reading.

Well I gotta run and get some work done today, Peace Out!!

My brain is melting

These past two weeks work has been crazy busy and it is a welcomed change from Sept (it was slower than hell). I have been working on our marketing and now have created more website than I really know what to do with. It is a good thing though because of all the links it creates but sometimes it feels like a obligtory burdedeon that can't be broken away from. I don't feel that with this Space since it is my first blog site and it is my own haven to do what ever I want with.

There are days though that I find it hard to even write or talk since I feel that day in and day out I have to come up with creative and innovative ideas. These all seem to tax my mind and make it hard to complete intellectual thoughts...does anyone just feel like being stupid? Like back in high school without a care in the world? I sure do because it is easy and carefree not demanding and articulate.

Though I have an inclination of reverting to my old self apart of me just love to entertain the idea without preforming such stupi and malicous acts of random stupidity. Hmmmmm...

I am really looking forward to going back to Mount Hood and tearing up the slopes. The trip is planned for the end of February and all my buddies are wanting to get wild and go big. I still haven't post many videos from the last Hood trip but they didn't turn out all that great. I am hoping to get more come this year. Well I am going to go hang out with my girlfriend and spoon...lata.

New Girlfriend

Back in November I started seeing a very nice gal Just Jyll when out with friends in Kirkland. Since then we have spent a lot of time together starting with getting my Christmas tree, I snapped a picture of White Horse that day, and going out on my dad's boat for the Everett Yacht Club's Lighted Boat Parade. It has definitely been a new experience because my daily life has changed from just doing whatever I want to asking Jyll what she wants to do. Having a girlfriend also means that I am not able to spend a zillion hours on the internet (which is a good and bad thing).

The internet has raised some particular items with our relationship mainly because I haven't read her blogs and want to work on one of my many websites. The only time that I usually find to be on the net for personal reason is on this site and not on MySpace reading surveys. I'm not one for taking the time to read surveys, answer them and make comments...I never did them on MSN Spaces when people would tag me. The only that I ever did came from my real estate blog and I posted here because it was only five questions, my meme. It is hard for me to justify spending time on that type of stuff when there is so much, IMO, business stuff to be done on the web.

Besides that little difference everything seems to be going pretty well but for the web difference. Last night we met up for dinner after I got out of a late listing appointment with my mom. We met up in downtown Kirkland at Zeeks Pizza and got our grub on.

What is interesting is that Jyll and I have so much in common, same pizza is canadian bacon, pineapple and fresh tomatoes and we both love corndogs. We think similarly and have same common interests like reading though are reading material is quite a bit different. She likes mysteries, thrillers and romances where as I like fiction and fantasy but at least it is a common interest. I am having a great time and enjoying every minute of it and hopefully it stays that way.

Blogging and Life

Does having a relationship with someone that can read your blogs change your blogging style? For it has. Before I used to blog fairly openly about my love life and where I was personally but now it seems to have changed.

In the past I shared about dates and how they went without fear if something I wrote would come back to haunt me. Most of the dates I went on I shared very little about my online activities and what my blogs/websites were so information couldn’t be used against me (just my way of thinking).

But now I am in a relationship I find myself not sharing my thoughts about how it is going and how I am feeling towards this girl. Why? Probably because I know she reads them and another big reason is these feelings are better shared in person, IMO. That sounds great but I have a hard time communicating in person sometimes for some odd reason.

Blogging is supposed to an open heart kind of project, IMO, and journaling my history has been so much fun but it having a girlfriend going to change what I do? Probably ? Anyone who is in relationship would probably agree with that. I am going to make my best effort and try not to change my blogging style and keep this an open heart site.

On another note I have been working on this site to further refine what it is like. With MSN Spaces Team adding new modules all the time it gives more opportunity to personalize the page. I have noticed many people using them but also the pages take forever to load and still sometimes freeze. It is a real pain in the butt when visiting friends Spaces that comments can’t be left due the page trading out.

So I don’t think any new modules are going to be placed except for maybe more Sandboxes or Soapboxes, whatever the hell they are called now. My friends lists needs another update and I am going to include friends from around the web now instead of just MSN Spaces friends. There will be my girlfriend, of course, my MySpace friends, MSN Spaces friends, ActiveRain friends and other friends I have made through blogging.

It will take me sometime since there is so much going on in my life right now and I am having trouble finding the time for it all. But putting one foot in front of the other I can’t go wrong.

Well I gotta run and get some work done today…have fun everyone!!

Christmas and New Years

These past two weeks have been just a riot with all the activities, family events and traveling so where should I start? How about Christmas.

Christmas Eve came really quick for me especially since I have been looking forward to going to the Seahawks and Chargers game all year. Mike picked me up at 9am and we made our way to Seattle for some free parking and to meet up with friends prior to the game; Brian, Brad, Andy, Rudy and Khallie. We grubbed and got down on some nachos then it was time to head into the game.

The first half was a defensive game with the Seahawks and Chargers both punting the football back and forth. It made it a quite game but that kept the Seahawks in the game until points could be put on the board. It took awhile and eventually the Seahawks got into the end zone twice and even added a field goal to the score. But sad to say it wasn’t enough to win because in the last minute of the game the Chargers got caught a deep pass for a TD to make the score 20-17. Ouch, the third straight loss for the Seahawks but the good news is that the 49ers lost so we clinched our division and are playoff bound.

Mom and I had Christmas Eve dinner when we both got back form the game and then relaxed the rest of the evening just talking by ourselves in the living room. Christmas morning it was just us again but we had some morning coffee while we opened presents. I scored some much needed cloths, 7 Diamonds shirt and pants, a sweater, socks and underwear (good thing some of mine need to be retired). Then it was off to my dads house for more food and family.

Dad and I had some breakfast then commenced to cooking for the big dinner at three. The menu was Prime Rib that was cooked on a rotisserie, 7 live Main lobsters dad had flown in, yams, beans, rolls and broccoli with cheese. We gorged our faces and tummies so much that it was difficult to get up from the table but we did and off to the living room for some presents.

Dad hooked me up with a 22 inch widescreen monitor for my computer which is just the sickest thing to work on. Now I just need to get a faster computer so I can maximize the gaming potential of that machine. It is so much nicer on my eyes for those long work nights and I can totally see it from my bed for those late night DVDs. Dad kick ass!

Then I took a few days off work to get my place in order for my ski vacation to Mount Hood, Oregon with Chris, Lindsey and I. It was fantastic and this blog is coming to you from the car on the way home (I’ll publish when I get in a few hours). We spent most of our time in the terrain park where I busted out some very large air. Chris was using his helmet cam to film me but being the first time using it the camera wasn’t situated perfect so it caught only my feet on the approaches and landings, nothing in between. It is a bummer because I caught some huge air pulling a big x-up with a tail grab on back to back booters. Chris and I road the park all day and had a great time.

After getting back to the hotel Chris, Lindsey and I got cleaned up and headed out on the town for some dinner at the Macaroni Gill. Dinner was awesome but after such a long day of skiing we went back to the hotel to rest our sore bodies.

We left this morning and currently bombing down the freeway just north of Tacoma Washington. The drive isn’t too bad and traffic is light which makes driving so much easier than normal around here.

Tonight Chris, Lindsey and I are all going downtown Kirkland to meet up with my new girl friend Jyll, AceJacks and a host of other friends for some good conversation and pool. I haven shot pool in ages but it is a great reason to get my stick out and play shark all night :)

Wow that took awhile to get out there and one of my longest blogs in a long time. I thought about breaking it up in a few sections but as a catch up it works real well all blended together.

Topic: Five Things You Didn't Know About Me

I believe in Aliens - I have had a over curious mind for extraterrestrial life ever since I had an experience when I was 15 years old. It has become a quest of mine to find an answer to a question that many have pondered, written about, seen and experience since that day.
I believe that I am completly different from everyone else - Growing up I have noticed my thought process and ideas that have come to my head are not what "normal people" think of. The quest for knowledge and theories consume my head which makes it difficult to turn it off.
I used to compete - When I was younger I competed in Karate and was a Junior Olympian in Kata taking 6th place (6th medaled) in St. Petersburg Florida. After that I competed with my dirt bike while racing in Harescramblers and Desert Events taking a few trophies with one being a 1st place in a 24hr team event.
I cry during movies - Contrary to popular belief I am not a tough guy. I used to hide it but then I quit caring with others think and let it all go during a movie. If a movie is heartfelt and touches something personal I let it all and tears will stream down my face. The cool thing is that it feels so good and refreshing when it happens.
I used to hate to write - Back in high school and college there was nothing more paining then writing a paper or essay because I was horrible at writing. My ambition for blogging started and grew from wanting to improve my writing for myself.

Wow that was harder than I thought and can't believe I shared #1. It was fun to do this even if for my own exercise in writing and who knows it might happen again :)

Today has been an alright day. I have my time chillin in my apartment working on my Washington real estate blog while watching football. I put a Hawk post over there today and I will get on the post for this site tomorrow while I am supposed to be working :) The games today were full of upsets and my favorite belongs to the Maimi Dolphins and the Chicago Bears. The undefeated Bears where beat on by the Dolphins at home. Hahha that was too good...I loved it. This could be a precursor to the rest of the Chicago season. The Steelers also got pounded on by the Broncos...I'll let Boobie know how I feel about that tomorrow morning :) But now I am getting ready to watchun Sday night football with the Indianapolis Colts (7-0) vs New England Patriots (6-1). Go Patriots on this game...I need them to win on my football pool :) No hard feelings Marcie.

Drama

Can someone be a friend to another person and not get cuaght up in the drama? Shit I don't know. An old friend got a hold of me through my RE site but then everything went crazy. This couple seems to be splitting up and having a few kids together doesnt help the situation any. We talked on the phone about work, life and shit we are both going through. NORMAL CONVERSATION!! Lasst time I checked talking wasnt a crime. Now the husband was to kill me...hahhaha omg. Whatever...try it...and try hard because your going to need. he left a message on my phone, I was out shopping, say if I touch he will kill me. One: I have known these two for 12-15 years. Two: we were talking. Three: he has been in one fight in his whole life, I can't count mine. Four: WTF...is this still high school? Damn I am 28 and don't need to be boxing over anything.

People still wanna box over people talking to their women? Most of my friends are married or engaged and I am the loan bachelor. Growing up means to you sleep with people's wife...NOT A NEW CONCEPT...I don't believe in it so why would I do it. In all my years I have never slept with someones girlfriend or wife...I have strict rulz against that shit for the simple drama eposide that is unfolding. But that doesnt mean a friend still can't be that.

They called for advice on rentals and the housing market for crying out loud. What am I supposed to do? Say..sorry your married I can't talke to you...give me a break...talk to people is what I do...sorry if that affends but GROW THE F*** UP.

Hell I am a business man. Lets do this for money. If someone wants to beat my ass then lets make a ring, sell tickets, have people bet (take a share of the winnings) and make some money for our bruises. Lets use the thing between the ears for the powers of good, not evil.

Of all the friends I have met on MSN Spaces the Hotties are the best. Can I get a hell yea for the Hotties? HELLZZZ YEA!! Through my blogging experience there have been alot of chance encounters that have bloawsommed (sp) into true friendships. I never thought it would happen and in over a year I still am in contact with the original OG's of MSN Spaces. To bad the hotties live a ways away....cuz i would swing over and say "Wa§§§up".

Over the past few months my attention has been diverited to my ActiveRain profile due to MSN changing the URLs of Spaces' bloggers and the rapid updates (before testing) to the system.

Applying my experience and knowledge gained from MSN Spaces has enabled me to gain a substancial (sp) lead amoung others in the ActiveRian network. SOmetimes it feels like cheating but its not so f*** it :) In business school I learned that applying current knowledge to a different industry has the opportunity to gain folds over the competition, benchmarking (simplistically) to secure a long term advantage over new entrants and current strongholders that don't deploy the technology.

I have may employed to many thoughts there but their you have it ;) Blogging has become more of a job, a welcomed advertising op. in my opinion, and it is hard to continue to think of inovative topics to entice readership. It is different than running a personal blog where a blogger with talk about whateva.

Sometime I wonder why I do it all but then i think of my families company. If i did it for me alone it would be weird but it surprises me that a lot of people dont see what I do for the benifit for them....hmmmm...i guess that is just the way it is.

To bad...they can't see the success someone else drives for them. ah well...i guess that is life...sry for the rambling post...logical thought in this one.

First and for most I would like to extend my eternal thanks to all my Spaces friends that have vote for my real estate website. It means so much to me that everyone came together for my punk ass and took time out of their day to cast some votes.

The payout when winning such a contest, as us Spacers know, is free traffic. Winning a national contest for the best real estate company website can bring us a lot of recognition and free publicity for a year. But it also helps validate than I am doing a good job and I just might know what I am doing.

Tonight a buddy hanging at my place and we are totally geekin out. He brought his labtop and he is chattin with friends while we chat. My buddy, Mike, leaves for Saudi Arabi at the end of the week. He is isn't military but he will be training military personel on helicopter mantainance. I am excited for him to take on such a journey but scared at the same time because I want him to return safely, you know what I mean. I love adventure and would hate to have someone be hurt pursing an adventure even though I am not scared to be injured.

Mike and I met when we were in seventh grade in home room but he moved to Alaska after that year. I didn't see him again until our senior year but shortly after he left back to Alaska. Over the years we have stayed in contact and have become great friends. When I was working at Starbucks he called me from the Bairing Straight while he was working for Columbia Helicopters as an a AMP mechanic.

So it is pretty cool for me to spend this time with my good friend. We are geeking out and chatting to each other while we b-bop around the net. Back in high school neither of us would have ever thought that we would like or spend so much time on a pc.

True friendship is hard to come by and I classify my Spaces friends in that category. I have the best friends on the planet and if anyone has a problem with that I knock you out!! hhehehe, jk, not really :P

This time of my life could be the best time in my life. All the friends I have met, the accomplishments I have done and the experiences I look forward to having.

Well my efforts...

Well my efforts to upload a new song have failed. The site I use is not accepting the file upload...maybe I will call Chuck F***ing Norris and have him round house the servers for me...If Chuck can't solve it then no one can :P So no new music which is a bummer because I had a really cool one picked out. It wasn't anything new but instead really really fun.

Tonight I have been off commenting and browsing through spaces and leaving my Big Foot mark everwhere. If you didn't I do live in Big Foot country and the funny thing is that they have been spotted in my old camping area...man I thought I was just loaded when I seen him campin.

Since the new URL change I had to make a new logo but I am not sure if I like how it turned out. It is the same as the last one but with a different URL at the bottom. I need to creat a new one but I don't have a clue what i should be.

Ah wtf...i better just go to do something...maybe read my book with a monster glass of milk. Gotta keep the vitamins in the body ;)

Happy Father's Day

Man, I almost forgot it was Father's Day. I will call my brother and my dad to wish them a Happy Father's Day. I bought them both cards at the beginning of the month and never got them out to them...that is horrible but I will see my bro tomorrow and give him is card. I really don't think my dad even knows its father's day. Hahaha and I am totally serious. I think he left for Italy Friday and he should be in Ireland. My old man is a pilot for Bruce McCaw, the billionaire, so he travels quite a bit. Happy Father's Day Dad & Bryan!! Love ya both!!

I feel good today because I stayed home last night but also I got a lot of work done last night in which I have been putting off for some time.

After getting yesturday morning Chris and I went to The Wayne golf course and shot a round. It was a great afternoon but my game was in the toilet on the front nine. My brother gave me his 2 year old Callaway driver, thx bro :) but I was not used to it and my balls were going up and to the right. I could hit them far but not straight. But that was only a portion of my problems. My irons were horrid along with my putting.

But when we got to the back nine something changed. The 10th hole I par'd and and it was on like donkey kong. Over the next eight holes I teed off and placed the ball either on or near the green. It was stellar, putting was still a tad shaky, and it seemed I could do no wrong. I finally relaxed and enjoyed my strokes.

Golf is like masturbation, if you not enjoying your strokes you won't enjoy the payoff.

After golf, I came home and kicked off my cloths, threw on my pjs and sat my fat ass on the couch. I threw in some new dvd's and jumped on the web. The other day I figured out how to improve the inter linking within BAREs website so the back button works perfectly from page to page. Our site uses frames, which arent the best but work, and if the link is done in one fashion it will add extra frames and/or the back button won't work unless you mash it a few times. It took me some time to fix all the links but I am totally done and glad I have figured that little issue out.

Then I went on to creat my personal bio page on our site. I get on our agents to get theirs done and I finally got mine done. hehehe ah well. All that work took me 3 movies and at 1:30am I hit the sack for a little bit of light reading before crashing out. Right now I am reading The First Scientific American, Benjamin Franklin and the pursuit of Genuis by Joyce Chaplin. Light reading, yea right but it is really interesting and is captivating to learn about what Franklin accomplished in his lifetime. Going from a printer to a man of letters and then onto politics is the true American Dream.

I survived my 28th birthday. It wasn't like turning 18 or 21 but it was pretty cool though. One of my hottie friends, Cindy, took me out for dinner and drinks. I love kickin it with her because we can talk, laugh and dance hella schweet together. To bad we are only friends but I would rather have that than anything, ya know?

So what is new up in the homestead? Let's see...Oh i got some new pictures of some hotties I finally downloaded off my camera, view hottie pics here. Yea Buddy!! So to say the least there is really nothing to new.

Work in the Washington Real Estate Industry is keeping me more than busy. Our Lynnwood plat is fully under way and I have just a few pieces of the marketing campaign to complete. It will be a sigh of relief to see how this project turns out, for better or worse. It will give me a baseline to see what worked well and what didn't and the areas that could use more emphasis.

Finally through talking shop :P

I haven't written anything political in a while but here is a video in which I would like to right a piece on that incorporates my views, watch YAAFM. Friday is finally here and it is time to have some fun. Some friends and I are heading to the M's game tonight to chillax and probably see the M's loose. Ah well it still should be fun though. Going to games is a seriously fun time. Especially with some college buddies. It was nice to take today off and get a semi-good work out in. I got a tad tired and didnt do my last bit of cardo.

The important thing is that I did biceps tonight. Now when I am out and about my guns will be swollen :P That was corney :)

Let's see what else is going in the world of work. hmmmmm...our biz website, Barnett Associates Real Estate, is under consideration to be in a Best Business Website category sponsored by our web hosting company. I hope we do good and I think we have a good shot.

The reason being is that there isnt to many company sites in there. Their are mostly individual sites but the company ones that are there are very good. It should be fun to see what happens. It would suck if we didn't even get pass the first round but for some reason I think that is highly unlikely.

I am working on my ad for the competition but I dont have any real cool image software or any $$$$ to buy any. Maybe I will call in a favor ;) Anyhoo I got get ready fo the game!! GO Mariners!!!

Well another day has gone and I am tired. I left my apartment Monday morning for work and I will go home tomorrow. It has been a long week but well worth the effort. To answer Linda's question: What wrong. Nothing is wrong or nothing happened. I have been really really busy at work but it was all good stuff, just mentally draining.

Monday morning we got our a Konica Minolta C351 BizHub dropped off and installed at work. It was cool because I have been doing the whole deal, like a real office manager, and meeting with sales reps, install guys and having meetings with title companies all while trying to do my normal office duties. So needless to say I have been busting my balls around the office.

I just got to my mom's house,having a frosty adult beverage, after a great office meeting. I put together the material with some help from mom but I did the most which isnt important for our meeting at 5:30pm. 12 of our 17 agents showed up!! It was f***in awesome and what a great energy we have. We worked through the agenda and discussed current issues, topics and strategies to achieve a great business presence both for the company and for its individuals.

Our company is red hot and is looking to be a serious contender against the big fat companies in Snohomish County. I am happy to finally see our office growing the way I have envisioned it. If no one has been around an entreprunial atmosphere you may not understand how decesions, which may seem so minor, impact a company and how it can grow and the craziness that grow has.

I am just excited I can get to be apart of my families business. I get a lot of personal satisfaction watching my hard work pay off and know I had a major part in it. I can't take all the credit because MOM has and does put tons of effort into it!! My MOM kicks Ass!! I know becuase she has f***ed me up before :) I deserved it though!!

So as I wind down my night with beverages I am thankful for everything in my life. My family and friends and so important to me and to be able to share experiences with them and you means a lot to this dude from small town Marysville.

How to end this blog tonight? Maybe with some humor, image or what? Well how about a quote an old pipeliner told me.

The end of the day is here and another great weekend in my so called life. I spent the day with mom, brother, sis-in-law and nephew. It was a beautiful day here and the morning was fabulous. We all sat around outside after breakfast outside in the sun (i got a little toasted) and talked like family. It has been awhile since we all been together and hung out. No distractions and no worries. Family is the best thing in my life and now watching my nephew growing up gives me a heart filled happiness that is unexplainable.

This week has a some good things worked in it but that can change at a moments notice....guess that is why they call this game "life'

Now I must retire my butt to bed and get some good rest...peace out

I had a not so cool day...

I had a not so cool day at work but before I get to the crappy part I must start at the beginning. This morning I got up hella early and started implementing a portion of a marketing plan I did. So after a few hours I meet up with mi madre to go check out some property and run ideas about the design of our signage. So we are cruisin in my moms phat ride, 545i BMW, and bouncin ideas off each other while I take notes on my tablet pc.

We spent 3.5 hours driving and talking and even signed a deal around. It was a great way to start the day. It was blue sky but still a tad chilly and definetly perfect weather to do some running around. My mom kicks ass!! Anyhoo, we get back to the office and I start making some phone calls to get in touch with people who are doing "pieces" of the marketing. Well I get on the phone with one lady whom is supposed to be doing som logos and nothing more and she proceeds to talk to me like I am moron.

So that ercked me right away but I blew it off. Then she starts bossing me around like I work for her and telling me what I have to do. Excuse me but who wrote the F***ing marketing plan and got it approved by the builder? Uh, I did. She told me she is going to design all the signage and all I have to do is get her the information for the sign and she will "pretty it up". Bull S***. Is she trying to steal all my fun? It looks that way.

Now I am caught between a rock and a hard place. Do I confront her and give her the 411 and the builder or do I let it get worked out between the builder and the lady (I would love to publish some bad articles regarding her demeanor but I will hold off on that)? I don't know the best approach just yet but I have decided to put in on the back burner for a few days so I can think things through rationally because right now I am so irrational and pissed.

As it sits right now I will only be doing one or two flyers instead of the whole marketing plan implementation. The orginal agreement was that Barnett Associates Real Estate would be designing and implementing the whole thing. It has me bummed since I thought this may be my first big chance to show case my talent other than just my other web work.

I hope it all plays out the way orginally planned but only time will tell. So after a long day I am relaxing and brewing up some dinner and browsing the net.

Well that thing was a good truck and I sold her after 9 1/2 years. Since i sold her I have been looking for a new truck. Yes, another truck. The new hottness is a get black :)

She looks great and like all my other trucks she is bone stock. It gives a perfect canvas to paint my picture. Buying the truck there were a few points that were important. Int & Ext colors, motor and overall condition of the truck. So when I came across a black one with the biggest V8 in a half ton I was stoked. If I even try to punch it from a stop or slow roll the tires light up. It does have a traction problem but I don't mind. On the freeway the power is most noticable. It lurches and starts gettin down the road pulling like striped ass ape. Hold to seat belt where going for a ride, WHOOPA WHOOPA.

Maybe I can take it to the tract and seem some numbers. It would be nice to have a base line before I start modifying crap. I love to take stuff apart and put other stuff on. I will try my best to not touch it and plus there are no dineros to fund those endevors. I did work some 20s in the deal though. They are ready Monday :) A rig has to have rims if nothing else.

I will post some pics when its nice outside and clean. hehehe I feel and excited and scared all at the same time. It has been along time since I purchased a vehicle, 9 1/2 years long.

It feels godo to have a newer truck but the "brand spankin new" vehicle still aludes. My first truck was a 1983 Chevy, notice a pattern, S-10. It had work done to it as well but that was a long time ago and this story is already way to long. So with have I am going to say peace out and go wonder around spaces and drop the wasssup :)

Ah one more thing...I went to the Seattle Supercross Tonight at Quest Field. Crazy fun, stayed sober, no beer but i had pizza and made safely home. It was bad ass. I will have to share some more later.

Weekend Blow Out!!

This weekend was crazy business. It started off Friday night when I met up with a buddy to shoot pool and have drinks. We went to Razzels in Lake Stevens and that was cool but we had to go to a bigger party. So it was off to the Tulalip casino in Marysville for more drinks, dancing and gambling.

After a few drinks there I got the wild idea to play the $25 dallor blackjack table and f***in booyaooo I cashed in 9 Benjamins. Oh yea livin large at the casino. So after buying all the drinks and food we headed home for safety. I woke up with the meanest hang over, again, but it was totally bearable when i looked at my wallet.

With that cash I bought my Seahawk Season Tickets, a jersy, food and drinks all weekend!! It was nice to have free money to go blow on me and my friends.

There was some bad news in the weekend though. My phone s*** on me and so did my desktop pc. So I bought a new phone, MPx 220 Motorola, and called another buddy to set me up with what he calls a "tower of power". That will be sweetness so then i could actually play some top flight games. My P3 800 just can't do it anymore.

So it is Monday and I am at work but the party hasnt ended yet. At 4 I am leavin work to go to a Mariners game. They are playing the current world champs, Chicago Whitesox. We'll probably loose but it hella nice here and a beer sounds kind of tasty. Gotta check my levels normal. hahaha

Anyhoo I better get back to work and look like I am being productive :P

Work is steady picking up...

Work is steady picking up and that is music to my ears. The phones are ringing and our website is ever increasing traffic. Last month we broke another total hits record with 11,803 for March 2006. Wahooo that is too cool. If the site continues this traffic through the year we could do over 130,000 hits. The one thing we have to do is start converting this traffic into transactions. I still have to keep working on it.

What else is going on…I am meeting up with some friends this weekend to mess around. What we will do I haven’t the faintest idea yet but there should be no problem in keeping ourselves occupied.

Tarah is hosting another event at her Warped Zone. It is the Top 100 sites so get your butt over there and nominate your favorite spaces, Nominate Here. I can think of a lot of spaces I would like to see be on the list so what are you waiting for. DO IT NOW!! Heheh :P

Well, CB was alot shorter than I remember but still fun to watch. It didnt have the same effect but i guess that is because i am alot older. Sometimes i wish i could be the little kid enjoying life.

Now to the present, I got my first sig and its hella tight! It was done by Ultramarine the SupaStar, swing by and drop her a line.

I have alot on my mind but it just isnt translating itself onto the page. I have been fighting a stupid cold and i dont think these coronas i am having help :) Oh well, the life of a bachelor.

I am going through another point of loneliness even though i chat with great friends online. I think i am missing companionship. It has been some years since I was with some one and I find myself thinking alot of once was. When my girlfrien and I broke up she got married a year later.

It blew me away but not as much as bumpin into her in Oregon at a mall. It sent my heart through my chest but then some other emotions set in. The feelings that were going through me were unlike I have ever expereinced. Maybe that is why they call it life?

As i sit here, alone, listening to tunes, commenting on friends sites I wonder if there is someone for me. I believe there is but the real question is when will i meet her?

It makes me laugh sometimes because I do feel that I am destined to be a bachelor for life but if that is my destiny then so be it. I can accept fate but I might give a few challenges on that way :)

Tomorrow will be different than today and I think I can garentee that but like Easy-E said "dont quote me because i didnt say shit".

Like the sands of time so are days of our lives...hehhehe...i couldnt resist.

Well my night is getting close to starting. I am going to Mary-town to meet up with the boys! I haven't seen my close friends in three months or so which is pretty sad. We are going to go gambling at Club Broadway and have some drinks and after that who knows.

Something I have to share is my Hurricane Katrina Essay I wrote prior, during and post regarding the current events is ranked #1 on Google. I am so proud of that and what is funny is that is wasn't my intention. It gets daily traffic from multiple search engines. My others get some traffic but near the quantity.

It is my hopes that I can duplicate something similiar to my new Real Estate Blog. Though it will take some time and a lot of attention when it comes to web marketing but I think are some successes to be had with it. If anyone hasn't noticed yet, I do celebrate my successes and it my belief that everyone should.

Why do anything if you can't be proud of it? If something is worth getting excited about isn't it worth sharing? I don't mean bragging but sharing, two different things because you have to be able to celebrate others successes as well. So celebrate, Loudly and Proudly you may be surprised who takes notice.

"Know one will tell others about your successes" Donald Trump. People want to hear that your doing well and that you are enjoying and taking pride in what you are achieving. I do it. I have found that people what to hear what i am doing now and then when they need something or need a professional opinion they call me.

That is something special in my book. Be a dreamer, Dream Big, Positive and Share those dreams and it will blow your mind when they start coming true.

Having an older brother growing up was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. Being older it was his duty to beat on me and teach me things only an older brother can. Stand up for yourself and others, be compassionate and care for family. Being my best buddy and idol, besides my dad & grandpa, I looked up to him and mimiced what he did and always sought his approval. His natural talent is a pleasure to watch still. We don't spend time together like we used to but I our relationship is at the best is has ever been. Now he is a father and me an uncle it is now coming full circle. So here's to you Bryan! For you are the best father I have seen!! I love ya!
